LABSIL  brand fused silica laboratory and Industrial ware is manufactured according to standards and also according customers requirements. The Silica content of the raw material (Silica sand) is >99.8% . The silica sand is purified and fused into Silica ware. It is known brand in Quality Controls Labs and Research Institutions.

Properties of Labsil Brand Silica ware

Chemical Properties       :  Not affected by Nitric, Sulphuric, Hydrochloric Acids. Certain                                           Metal oxides, Hot Alkalies react with Silica. It is attacked by

                                         Hydrofluoric acid & Phosphoric Acid at high temperature

Physical Properties        : Density : 2.2 / cm³ , Hardness : 6 – 7 Mohs

Poisson’s Ratio                       : 0 – 17  , Tensile Stre ngth : 600 – 700 kgs/cm²

Softening Temperature  :  1700℃

Annealing Temperature  :  1150℃

Working Temperature    :  1900℃ to 2000℃

Operating Temperature  :  1050℃

(continuous)

Operating Temperature  : 1350℃

(intermittent)

Note : Continuous usage of silica ware above 1000℃  leads to breakage on repeated usage. For long usage it is advisable to since the silica ware in distilled water and alcohol to remove any remains of the material heated.
